The history of our Hotel
The construction of the cable car marks the turning point. Renon opens its doors for tourism in 1907.
By the lake in Costalovara, trattoria Albergo al Lago, which runs by Mrs Luzia Pichler-Baumgartner, and Cafè Waldfrieden, which later on also belongs to family Baumgartner, open their doors.
In 1979 Hans and Christl Baumgartner rebuild Cafè Waldfrieden into Hotel am Wolfsgrubenersee.
Nowadays, after nearly 40 years, daughter Karin and her husband run the hotel.
